With the crazy success of Hunger Games’ opening weekend, the second installment in the sci-fi/fantasy franchise has already set a release date for November 2013.
This BARELY gives the cast/crew a small break before filming begins in fall!
BUT, it seems that our trio of Panem teens are NOT resting up during the brief respite. All three have multiple projects in the works. Let us give you the lowdown AFTER THE JUMP!!!
Jennifer Lawrence is in two films to be released fall 2012: the thriller House at the End of the Street and The Silver Linings Playbook starring Robert De Niro and Bradley Cooper.
She also begins filming Serena in April, and will most likely revise her mutant role in the sequel to X Men: First Class.
Our favorite aussie hottie Liam H. stars alongside Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis and Chuck Norris in The Expendables 2 which drops August 2012.
He’s also rumored to be in a crime drama called Empire State and in an adaptation of Arabian Nights!
Finally, Josh Hutcherson‘s next film to grace theaters in early April is a SXSW 2011 premiere, Detention.
He’s probably going to return to the Center of the Earth for a third time, and will also star in the re-make Red Dawn, which opens November 2012.
PHEW! There is no denying these three ambitious thespians are finding success, and deservedly so! They were DAMN good in THG!!
