Tara Reid Party Price Plunges

THE stock of Hollywood blonde Tara Reid has apparently just fallen, with the body-for-hire rumoured to have discounted her party fee in a desperate dash for Aussie cash.

Last month reps for Reid - pictured, right, flying into Darwin and partying hard at the weekend's Hookers Ball in the hot city - reportedly spruiked the pneumatic starlet for sale at the inflated price of ,000 to ,000 per promotional appearance.

But the hot air seems to have gone out of the surgically enhanced bimbo market, with the star now being offered for the bargain-basement price of about 00 to turn up to Sydney parties this week.

After cashing in on the slipstream from Paris Hilton's whirlwind trip to town earlier this year, Reid was hoping to back up her last visit in January when she bagged an ad campaign for Dodo internet services.

While she will happily play up as the bimbo blonde again during a shoot for the broadband supplier on Friday, sources close to the American Pie actress told Confidential yesterday she's keen to lock in a few more pay cheques before returning to La La Land next week.

"(,000) is definitely in the ball park for her, depending on the project, but she's thinking about a few other options now," Reid's Sydney friend and pseudo-agent George Moskos told Confidential yesterday.

Moskos said Reid was expected to return to Sydney tomorrow, flying in from Darwin where she was the paid guest of the tastefully named Hookers costume ball on Saturday night, sweating alongside shirtless cowboys and PVC-clad Little Britain impersonators.

A rumoured appearance at the launch of Ravesi's new bar Drift, Bondi, on Thursday night has apparently been cancelled because she's "not the right fit" for the venue's slick image.
